After windows has set compatibility mode to windows 7 the program has installed and now runs perfectly as it used to. It was a while ago that i have done this but as far as i remember, once you run the program compatibility troubleshooter you will have to browse your pc and find the allshare installation.
As of June , and for an unknown time before, the certificate signing the AllShare installer has been revoked and no amount of dancing and chanting will unblock the installer.
